It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Atkinson (Antioch, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Allie Etta Atkinson-Mitchell; his wife Rhonda "Pip" Hall-Atkinson; his son Micah (Atkinson); and his brother James "Jimmy" Buford. He is survived by: his sisters, Wilhelmina Anthony (Mark), Fannie I. Hall, Ola Hall-Harris and Mildred Hall Hendricks (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Sgt. SajVion Atkinson, Sky Atkinson and Savahad Atkinson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
