She is survived by: her sister Sonja Overbey Cummings; her brother-in-law J. W. Givens; and her children, Connie Walden McEwen, Carneal "Chuck" Walden, Jr. (Bonnie), Karen Walden, Kimberly Walden and Candis Walden Batey. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
