She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Owens and Margaret Owens (Pennington); her husband Robert Arthur Springgate; and her sisters, Mary Curtis, Sarah Owens, Eugenia Owens and Peggy Ziegler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Seibel of Antioch, TN and Debra Hawley of Decatur. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
