He is survived by: his son Jonathan Young (Kelley); his siblings, James M. Pettus, Jr., Delores Herring, Marvella Pettus and Pamela Cox; and his grandchildren, Ericka Bray, Makenzie Young and Nicholas Young. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
