He was predeceased by: his parents, John Devro and Isabel Walker Galyon; his siblings, John Devero Galyon, Jr. and Bettie Ann Galyon; his granddaughter Katherine Hungate; and his cousin Frank Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Terrill Galyon, Jeffrey R. Galyon (Loetta), Belinda Hungate (Charles), Carol Griffith (Tim) and Tina Grissom (Mark); his grandchildren, Leighann Jenkins-Cash, Erika Rose, Nick Galyon, Adrienne Thomas, Elizabeth Edralin, Kelsey Wall, Shelby Wilson, Christine Woliver, Kylie Grissom and Marie Hungate; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Galyon. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
