Though Richard Shearer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Shearer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lois Shearer and William Sawyer (Bill); his wife Jane Breeding Sawyer; and his daughters, Sharon Wise (Russ) and Christa Edwards (Kevin).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fountain City United Methodist Church (212 Hotel Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
