He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Tyree and Mattie Ison Tyree; and his siblings, Harold Tyree, Dean Tyree, Wink Tyree, David Tyree, Alex Tyree, Fred Darrell Tyree and Diane Tyree.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Welch Tyree; his daughters, Rhonda Mozingo (Paul) of Kennesaw, Georgia and Sherry McDonie (Robert) of Norris, Tennessee; his siblings, Garry Tyree of Andersonville, Larry Tyree of Portsmouth, Ohio, Glenna Lewis of Morrow, Lorrain Korn (Ron) of Arizona and Eunice Webber of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Sarah Zorn (Kevin), David McDonie (Tiahna), William Mozingo (Elin), Devon McDonie and Tim Fusan (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Aurora McDonie, Jude McDonie and Aiden Fusan.
