She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mastern and Artie Mastern; and her sister Alta Joan Stooksbury. She is survived by: her brothers, Russell Stooksbury (Glendora) of Andersonville, Gary Stooksbury (Barbara) of Andersonville and Michael W. Stooksbury (Patti) of Maynardville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in her memory to East Tennessee Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
