He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Laura, Eathel Ruehling and Wanda Myers. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Burnett Ruehling; his parents, William Ruehling and Cheryl Ruehling; his children, Seth Worley Ruehling (Megan), Jeremiah Ruehling and Angelina Ruehling; his brother Nathan Ruehling; his grandson Raylin Ruehling; his grandfather Claude Speaker Myers; his nephew Tobias Ruehling; his parents-in-law, David and Karen Burnett; his brother-in-law Michael Burnett (Holli); his nieces, Kymberleigh and Kenzie Burnett; and his nephew Kegan Burnett.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Swiss Colony Cemetery (315 Swiss Colony Cemetery Rd, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37339).
