He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Ella Brinkley Stevens. He is survived by: his father Arthur Stevens; his siblings, Bruce, Howard Sr., Johnny Lee, Freddie Stevens and Juanita Hill; his grandchildren, Jaden, Edgar Perez and Juan Padilla; his wife Mary Ruth Tate Stevens; his children, Randall Stevens, Tabitha Gonzalez (Matthew Waters), Samantha Stevens (Juan Rojas) and Lara Acuna (Bernardo); his sisters, Elizabeth Stevens and Elaine Montgomery (Kendal); and his siblings-in-law, David Ray Tate Jr. (Teresa) and Karen West (Steve). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
