She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arnold Eugene Tate and Mary Lou Fults Tate; her husband George Boren; her children, Gregory George Boren and Melissa Lassiter; her siblings, Frances Novella "Topsey" Whitman, Gladys Allene Meeks Ross and Robert Franklin Tate; and her children, Marcus Boren, Susan Lehman and Leann Conners. She was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
