She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Edward Davis and Atha Bell Sims Davis; her husband Franklin Leroy Smith; her brothers, Jessie and Lewis Davis; her children, Joseph Skelton, Franklin Smith II, Lisa Marie Skelton and Shelia Skelton; and her sisters, Betty Johnson, Joan Bolton, Barbara David and Janet Hood. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
