He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Golden Watkins and Vera Dean Watkins (McAlpin); his son Kori Watkins; and his siblings, Garland, Dewey Watkins and Gearldine Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Watkins; his children, Gearl Watkins (Janet), Sherrill Stewart (Steve), Jeff Watkins (Jennifer), Tara Walker (Josh) and Victoria Dodson (Dillard); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan Stewart, Jaimie Frazier, Jacquie Hogue, Emma, Morgan, Gavin Watkins, Abbi, Colby Walker and Bentlee Phillips. He is also survived by Numerous Great-Grandchildren; A host of neices, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
