She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Waterman and Marie Waterman; her husband Walter Russell Dishman, Sr.; and her children, Walter Russell Dishman, Jr. and Margaret Norris (Siss).

She is survived by: her children, Sarah Walker-Wilson, Sandy Eldridge (Tom Jones), Kim (Steve Jeffers) and Shirley Brown Graves; and her pet Miss Kitty. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
