He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Garrett and Lola Garrett (Shoemaker); his grandchildren, Sarah Jones and Ryan Jones; his children-in-law, Cheryl Garrett, Mike Jones and Dannie Adkins; and his siblings, James Garrett, Bob Garrett and Elvie Smith (Garrett).
He is survived by: his wife Ina Garrett (Frogge); his children, Roger Garrett (Bonnie), Gary Garrett (Debbie), Stanley Garrett, Sharon Smith (Darrel), Rhilda Gastineau (Mark) and Rebecca Garrett (Anthony Beaty); and his siblings, Raymond Garrett, Freddie Garrett, Harvey Garrett, Caldwell Garrett, Steve Garrett, Gladys Potter and Ruth Potter Seventeen. He is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
