He was predeceased by: his children, Kevin Sosa, Earl Sosa and Elaine Sosa. He is survived by: his son Rick Sosa (Barb Sosa); his grandchildren, Kinsey Sosa, Savannah Sosa, Isabel Sosa, Chad Sosa, Morgan Sellers, Josh Cahill, Jr., William Hall-Sosa and Aiden Hall-Sosa; his great grandchild SJ Miller; his sister Leila Lara; and his grandson-in-law Seth Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
