He is survived by: his wife Georiga Ann Sherfey (Lewis); his children, Ida Kathy Luke, Elsie Eileen Vercher, Howard Allen Sherfey and Jean Thompson (Karen); his stepchildren, Jack Gardner, Pennie Dyer, Johnny Dyer and Sheila Hammock; his grandchild Numerous; his great grandchild Olivia; his brothers, Ray Sherfey and Charles Sherfey; his daughter Mary Ann Westeman; his stepchildren, Randy Gardner and Betty Gardner; and his siblings, Elise, Birdy, Sue, Jim and John.
