He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy J. Sliger; his nephew Chad Flatt; his niece Sherry Hooten; and his grandparents, Jimmy, Lizzie Sliger, Charlie and Annie Jernigan Ford.
He is survived by: his daughter Emily Sliger of Cookeville; his sister Ann Flatt of Algood; his niece Sheila Hines (James) of Whitleyville; his great-nieces, Zelda Hines of Whitleyville and Makala Hooten of Gallatin; his friend Adam Baker; and the mother of his child Pauline Gunter.
