He is survived by: his parents, Grady Nixon Ellis and Edna Ruth Wright Ellis of Alexandria, TN.; his children, Miranda Grant (Nick) of Alexandria, TN. and Andrew Ellis (Jamie Barber) of Gassaway, TN.; the mother of his children Jill Ellis of Gassaway, TN.; his siblings, Donnie Ellis (Tonya) of Alexandria, TN, Kenneth Ellis of Alexandria, TN, Juanita Howell (Michael) of Brush Creek, TN and Felecia Vantrease (Bob) of Alexandria, TN.; and his grandchildren, Vaylee, Emery, Alex, Maddox, Noah and Liam. He is also survived by Several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
