He was predeceased by: his father Buddy Cook; and his former wife Pam Baker Cook. He is survived by: his mother Jean Akin Cook of Alexandria; his wife Teresa Cook of Alexandria; his children, Amanda Ruth Loring (Michael Weaver) of Washington, Troy Cook (Julie) of Dowelltown, Morgan Thaxton-Bain (Taylor) of McMinnville, Eddie Parrish (Kiersten Shuster) of Cookeville and Jacob Parrish of Cookeville; his grandchildren, Dallas Cook, Alley-Beth Cook, Drew Cook and Kennedy Shuster; his sister Cynthia Agee (Butch) of Liberty; and his nephews, Josh Agee (January) and Joey Agee (Casey). He is also survived by 6 great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Upper Helton Baptist Church Building Fund or Salem Cemetery Fund, in memory of Barry.
