She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Sr. Dobson and B. Juanita Kerr Dobson. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Douglas Jr. Dean (April) and Freda L. Dean; her grandchildren, Violet Dean, Phillip (Dean), DaVeda McGee (Rashed) and Johnathan Dean; her great grandchildren, Rashed and Rakeim McGee; her nephew Mikail Abdullah (Aminah); her nieces, Geraldine Haliey, Deborah and Lisa Dobson; her cousins, ChristinaBurchfield, Ruth Jacobs, Glenda Coffin, Gail Dean, TolethaDavis, Mildred Saffell-Smith, Larry Smith and Pamela Coffin; and her friends, Carolyn Thompson, Darlene Sudderth (Paul), LaVetta Kendrick Spann, James Parker, Dr. Sandra Griffin, Rev.
