With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Douglas Davis Sr. (Alcoa, Tennessee), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Murray Davis and William Edward Davis, Jr.; and his sister Rosella Hobbs. He is survived by: his sister Syliva Murphy; his wife Dr. Maxine Thompson Davis; his children, Renee Kelly (Todd), Ron Davis, Jr. and Khary Thompson (Christina); his brothers, Edward (Liane), Stanford (Alecia), Stephen (Tanya) and Theodore Davis (Sheila); his grandchildren, Clarke Kelly, Britney Davis, Todd Kelly Jr. (Makenzie), Kamariah Thompson, Trey Davis, Nia, Avani and Ellura Thompson; and his great grandchildren, D. J., Baleigh Booker and Tenn C. Kelly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
