It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ferguson (Alcoa, Tennessee), who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Shirley Henry; her sister Dana Jo Evans; her niece Donita Simmons; her nephew Chance Knighton; and her great-nephew Derrick Evans.
She is survived by: her adoptive daughter Yolanda Woods (Travis); her son Eric Peacock (LaRon Ferguson); her grandchildren, Joshua Henry, Brenden Rudd, Toya Henry, Jordan Ferguson (Aliviya), Rachelle Peacock, Lauron Ferguson, Alana Peacock and Layla Peacock; her sisters, Phyllis Hardin, Loyce Mayes (David) and Judith Knighton; her foster sister Doris Bowans; her aunts, Joyce Tate, Katheline Tate and Carol Henry; her nieces, Kendra Evans, Sony Knox, Joy Hardin, Ina Mayes and Dynasty Knighton; her nephew Iven Mayes; her cousins, Karla George Davis, Kim Marble, Wilma Jean Tate Asbury and Rosalyn Henry Littles; her friend Jimmy Ferguson (Peanut); and also, Jimmy (Pickle) and Shari McRae. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, great nieces, nephew and cousins.
