He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Lee VaughnSurvived. He is survived by: his sister Connie Vaughn Fritch; his brother-in-law Gerald Smith; his daughter Peggy; his son-in-law Sid Davis; his sons, Jerry L. (Kimberly A. Vaughn) and David L. (Esli Vaughn); his grandchildren, John Tatum, Jr. (Kerstie), Matthew Tatum, Taylor Tapp (Dylan), Thomas "Alex" (Melissa Vaughn), Cassandra "Cassie" Vaughn, Christian Vaughn, Mayson'Moose" Vaughn, Harbor "Boo" Vaughn and Lakyn Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Lela Tatum, John Tatum III and Violet Luna Vaughn.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Larry's name to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
