He was predeceased by: his pet Ski; and his parent Jean Richard Gerhardt. He is survived by: his wife Deborah West Gerhardt; his children, Lane Jr. (Anjou), Tyson, Whitney, Kali and Zachary; his grandchildren, Sadie and Jake; his brother Reid (Nancy); his niece Shannon Auge; and his nephew Brant.
