It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lagretta Shields Lovingood of Alcoa, Tennessee, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband D. L. Lovingood, Jr. (Dee); and her parents, Rod Shields and Gaynell Shields. She is survived by: her children, Mark Lovingood (Joli) of Alcoa, TN and DeEtta Prose (Greg) of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Alexa and Madison Prose; and her siblings, Conchita Scandaliato (Shields), Joy Ferrell (Shields) and Brad Shields. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
