We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2019, at the age of 80, John Fowler Carey (Alcoa, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carey and Curtisteen Carey; his son Gary Carey; his sister Phyllis Carroll; his nephew Steve Carey; and his brother-in-law Joe Gibson.

He is survived by: his son Bobby Carey (Donna); his grandchildren, Jessica Cook (Greg) and Eric Carey (Caitlin); his great grandchildren, Alden, Easton Carey, Zane and Sage Cook; and his siblings, Patricia Gibson, Mary Sue McKenzie and Morris Carey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
