He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oran Canant and Annabelle Garner Canant; his siblings, David Glenn Canant and Rebecca Lynn Canant Sayles; and his nephew Rusty Lou Canant.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelia Moss (Darrell); his grandson Nathan Claire Vaughn; his siblings, Allen Canant (Tammy), Marcia Anita Chambers (Drew), Paula Canant and Deborah Runkles (Duane); his former wife Nancy Laverne Raines Canant; and his close friend Mike Becker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
