He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberta (Henry) and Roy; his brothers, Michael and Douglas; his granddaughter Katherine; and his son John.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jane (Jones); his children, Patricia (Roy) and Timothy (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Katie, Victoria, Summer, Corey, Zelda, Eleanor and Evelyn; and his sisters, Nancy and Beth.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee in Gary's name.
