He was predeceased by: his parents, Ali Riza and Emine Gencay; and his siblings, Faruk, Fikret Gencay and Engin Onder.
He is survived by: his wife Lou Gencay; his children, Denise Edmonds (Steve) of Powell, Jeffry of Powell, David (Kathy) of Powell and Lloyd (Elizabeth) of Michigan; and his close friends, Frank, Mary Burns, Carolyn Major and Becky Wheatley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
