She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaither Ownby and Josie Ownby; and her sister Mildred Dial. She is survived by: her husband James "Ray" Potter; her daughter Ann; her son-in-law John Alderton; her grandchildren, Lisa Lin and Adam Alderton; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Claudia, Celia, Blake and Ashton.
