He was predeceased by: his father William A. Shipley; his father-in-law Lester Rainbolt; his brother Ronald Lynn Shipley; his brother-in-law Roy Scarbrough; and the mother of his children Tammy Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Shipley; his sons, Jon and Donnie Shipley; his stepdaughters, Debra Smuteck (Roy) and Sarah Brumbelow (Tyler); his grandchildren, Ryan, Aiden, Olivia and Avangalee; his mother Alice Shipley; his mother-in-law Della Rainbolt; his siblings, William R. Shipley, Sr. (Cassie), Mary Scarbrough, Carolyn Ballard (Steve), Dorothy Mitchell (Frank), Jerry Shipley (Sharon) and Glenda England (Gary); and his brother-in-law Norman Rainbolt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
