She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Willie Dale Carter and Nellie Ruth Carter; and her brother Dearies Butler. She is survived by: her parents, Willie Ruth Carter and Kenneth Butler (Deatrice); her husband Bobby Mitchell; her sons, William and Tyrese Mitchell; her siblings, Marcus Isom, Tareko Butler, Joshua Miller, Jason, Aiden, Kaiden Keaton and Joslyn Johnson; her in-laws, Wilma Sheckles (Ell) and Herman Mitchell (Deborah); and her cousins, Shida Hawes and Chelsie Wimbley.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the House of God (160 Badgett St, Alcoa, TN 37701).
