She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis A. McClendin and Mary Ruth McClendin; and her husband Ray Lester Turner. She is survived by: her son Alin Dean Simpson, Jr. (Eileen); and her stepson Jon Turner (Wendy). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
