It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard D. Shaw (Afton, Tennessee), who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard D. Shaw to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee E. Shaw and Ruth Reaves Shaw; his fiancée Juanita Keller; and also Gene Jones. He is survived by: his brother Robert "Denver" Shaw; his sister-in-law Peggy Shelton Shaw of Chuckey; his nieces, Aleeta Shaw of Johnson City and Nancy Shaw Barbour of Chuckey; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli Howard Barbour, Aidan Lee Shaw Storm, Emmalee Ruth Barbour, Lacie Buchanan, Kaylee Hutsell and Jacob Hutsell; and also, Cody Storm, Caleb Hutsell and Brenda Jones.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cedar Grove Cemetery Fund in care of Ted Wilhoit at 2275 Old Jonesboro Road, Chuckey, TN 37641.
