She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Laughlin; her son Larry; her parents, William Harris and Verna Shelton Harris; and her brothers, James and W. E. Harris.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Laughlin (Debbie) of Greeneville, Leonard Laughlin (Cindy) of Cary, NC and Randy Laughlin (Sheila) of Piney Flats; her sister Betty Reaves of Afton; and her grandchildren, Heather White (David) of Greeneville, Todd Laughlin (Jennifer), Aaron Laughlin of Cary, NC, Michele Shuler of Piney Flats and Shawn Davis (Meredith) of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
