With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Shelton (Afton, Tennessee), who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Shelton; his parents, Emmett Shelton and Elmeta Shelton; and his siblings, Dennis, Herbert, Winfred, Ronnie Shelton and Hazel Tunnell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Shelton (Vonda), Wanda Denney and Delores Crum (Bobby); his children, Debbie Shelton, Dennis Shelton, Sammy (Billie Ann Tipton) and David (Connie Tipton); his grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, Cody and Tim Tipton; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Emmie and Kaleb Tipton; his nephews, Jonathon Shelton and Braxton Potts; and his niece Natalie Potts. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
