With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty M. Slagle of Afton, Tennessee, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Frank Gene Smith; her husband Horace Slagle; her son Hobart Smith; her parents, Ralph Williams and Ellen Williams; and her siblings, Alice Cupp, Phyllis Henry, Willie Fern and Phil Williams.

She is survived by: her caregivers, Judy Slagle and Helen Marshall; her granddaughters, Judy Mae Snipes and Heather Hensley; and her sister Rose Harvel. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
