She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Higgins and Grace Higgins; her brother Charles Higgins; and her daughter Mikki Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Sauls; her siblings, Thelma Bowlin, James Fred Higgins and Richard Wayne Higgins; her son Kelley Smith; her grandchildren, Christy Skerrett and Clinton Smith; and her great grandchildren, Brooke Skerrett, Ruthie Smith, KC Smith, Chance Smith and Carter Smith.
