We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 74, Wana Mae Brown (Adamsville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Brown and Dora Curry Brown; and her siblings, Jim Brown, Nettie Sue Brown and Mary Francis Butler.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bobby Brown (Kathy) of Finger, William Brown of Selmer, Tennessee, Carolyn Southern of Savannah, Linda Talley (Wayne) of Savannah, Linnie Ruth Keistler of Jackson, Donna Springer of Adamsville and Bernice Nash of Finger, Tennessee; and her uncle James Robert Brown of Adamsville, Tennessee. She is also survived by 7 nieces; 12 nephews; 8 great nieces; 8 great nephews; 2 great great nieces; and 1 great great nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors (303 Old Stage Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Mars Hill Cemetery (5948 Leapwood Enville Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310).
