It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Lynn Johnson-Hans of Adamsville, Tennessee, born in Chandler, Arizona, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robah Johnson Jr. and Phyllis Bohannon Johnson; her daughter Brittany Johnson-Hans; and her brothers, Chris and Lyle Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert May of Lexington, TN; her son Anthony Montgomery Whitson of McKenzie, TN; her sister-in-law Becky Shelby; and her stepson Robbie May of Selmer, TN.
Rebecca's wishes were for her body to be donated to the University of Tennessee of Knoxville Anthropology Department.
