She was predeceased by: her parents, Finley "Tony" Edgar (Birdie Harue Moffett Gibbs) and Martha Gibbs Davey; and her siblings, John Elmer Gibbs, W. M. "Snow" Gibbs, Merle Charlyne Gibbs Powell, Margaret Eloise Gibbs Scott, Mabel Louise Gibbs Watson, Herbert Hoover Gibbs, Joe Finley Gibbs, Ray Gibbs, Fay Gibbs, Bobby Glen Gibbs, James Kenneth Gibbs, Billy Keith Gibbs and Donny Max Gibbs.
She is survived by: her husband Mel Davey, Jr.; her son Mel Davey, III (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Colin Davey and Cameron "Cami" Davey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Youth Group at The Reel Church in Martha Gibbs Davey's honor.
