She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marshall and Reba Marshall; her spouse E. J. Hughes; her sisters, Jo Brush (Tom) and Mary M. Parker; and her nephew Mike Hughes.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Jane Littlefield Hughes of Franklin and Mgr. Billy Parker of Nashville; her nieces and nephews, Carlyn Hughes, Debra H. Herrin (Mike), Anita H. French (Randell), Lisa H. Short, Shelia Brush Payne (Donnie), Keith Hughes (Kathryn), David Hughes (Gina), Jeffrey Hughes (Neeka) and Joey Parker (Ann Stevenson); and her great-nephews, Stevenson Alan Parker and William Hughes Parker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Adamsville (303 Old Stage Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Adamsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Adamsville or to the Patsy Cain Education Foundation Fund at Adamsville Elementary School.
