He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elijah and Jessie McCullough Rinks; his wife Janice Smith; and his sister Margaret Tackett. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Rinks (Barbara) of Winter Garden and Tim Rinks (Melanie) of Eads, Tennessee; his sister Peggy Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Haley Rinks, Matthew Rinks, Melissa Rinks and Caroline Rinks.
