He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Archie and Ruth Frances Cosby Burkeens; the mother of his children Linda Gail Burkeens; and his son Michael Doyle Burkeens. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Burkeens of Adamsville, TN; his children, Amanda Sanders (J. C.) of Santonville, TN, Ashley Lipford of Adamsville, TN and Jeff Burkeens (Jennifer) of Adamsville, TN; his grandchildren, Michael Willis (Courtney), Hunter Burkeens (Kieana), Johnny Burkeens, Kayla Burkeens, Kacey Burkeens, Harper Sanders and Mikaela Sims; his great grandchild Drake Michael; his sister Belinda Jewell Hardin of Ramer, TN; and his close friend Phillip Jerrolds. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
