He was predeceased by: his parents, Eber Thetus and Vestal Rodgers Pettigrew. He is survived by: his wife Ann Pettigrew of Adamsville, Tennessee; and his children, Duke Matlock (Kelley) of Orlando, Florida, Peggy Smallwood (Steve) of Chandler, Penney Neverez (Victor) and Pam Hovey (Todd) of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
