He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee; and his wife Margaret Bourne Downing. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Butts (Charles); and his grandchildren, Tyler Estep (Lauren), Jordan Estep (Megan), Calob Butts (Trisha), Jessica Cunningham (Daniel), Amanda Clayton (Mack), Emily Lepper and Stephanie Standridge. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
