He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Carda; his parents, William Sr. Carda and Nellie Carda; his siblings, William Carda Jr., Duane Carda, Corrine Tronvold, Shirley Dvorak and Shari Boetel; his siblings-in-law, Mary Rae Carda (Duane), Delores Krcil and Jim Krcil; and his grandson Austin Ingalls.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Carda (Vonnie) of Yankton, Brian Carda (Diane) of Yankton, Brett Carda of Sioux Falls and Kim Hoffer (Scott) of Sioux Falls; his sister Bridget Hanson (Arden); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Schramm (Bill), Leo Dvorak and Gary Boetel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
