We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Rodney Lane of Yankton, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Rodney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rodney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillie E. Lane (Hlavac) and Edward C. Lane. He is survived by: his close friend Keith Christensen.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory (601 W 21st St, Yankton, SD 57078). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery North Douglas (509 Capital St, Yankton, SD 57078).
