With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Hegdahl of Yankton, South Dakota, born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manville Hegdahl and Esther Hegdahl (Jansen); his wife Kathleen Clemens; his parents-in-law, Lillian and John Clemens; and his brothers-in-law, Robert, James Clemens and Casey.
He is survived by: his close friend Betty Maruska of Yankton; his children, Lisa Pilker (Mark) of Rapid City, SD, Mark Hegdahl (Tracey Fuller) of Casper, WY, Lee Hegdahl (Marla) of Brookings, SD and Lori Meisner (Jerry) of Sioux City, IA; his grandchildren, Amber (Barry), Adam, Austin, Keaton, Theresa (Chris), Hunter, Ellison, Rebekah and Jennica; his brothers, Jerry Hegdahl (Connie) of Sioux Falls and Randy Hegdahl of Madison, SD; and also Cynthia Spence (Darrell) of Yankton. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
